Software / Services problem (winXp x64)

Hi,
I got a damn problem with my windows xp x64.
When i want to do windows update, it cant because windows update is disabled, so i wanted to turn it on in services.msc, but when i want to start a service in services.msc, i get the following error: Error 2: The system cannot find the file specified.
Other services give other problems, like:Error 1068: The dependency service or group failed to start.
Please could someone help me, i dont have any backup so i cant do system restore.. (tried it)
PS:I think i deleted something from windows with clean programs, it asked for the windows cd back then but i ignored it.
How can i make it so, that windows asks for the cd again? (maybe it fixes my problem)
