Overclocking / i wont to over clock my pc how??

right i how an old p2 531 mhz pc with 256 ram and i wont to muk around with it so i was thinking that i would overclock it .... how do i do this?
and can it be done with just fans and heat sink compounds??
i have got 5 fans to play with and that heat sink compound stuff.. i wont it so it is stabel and wont crash or freze on me.... if it can be done were do i put the fans in my case its a standed tower box case thanks:)
