Software / Media Player: Choppy Videos! Fix?
« on: May 28, 2005, 09:25:34 AM »
Many videos I download are choppy. MANY. But not all. Anyone else having this problem?

To be sure it wasn't a virus, I wiped the computer and started over. Played some of the same video files and they were fine. When I go to play them a month or two later...they're choppy again. It must be some corruption or virus or something to that extent...or my video card. I'll give the pertinent info:

- WinXP Pro Corp Gold Edition
- Media Player 10
- nVidia FX5200 128mb
- 1GB (2x512Mb) PC3200 Kingston Value RAM
- Microsoft Anti-Spyware
- Spybot S&D
- AVG 7.0 (anti-virus)

Any help would be appreciated if someone has fixed this problem.

I lost my Office 2000 discs a few months ago and I'm having a heck of a time finding it online.  Does anyone know where I could download a copy?  I'd appreciate it.  I need an American copy, because the Norwegian copies just don't work for me. lol
