Tech Clinic / Control Panel, rundll32.exe error
« on: June 06, 2005, 07:41:16 AM »
G'day all.
I need help with an error that I get. When I turn on the computer, go into Control Panel and open Add or Remove Programs for the first time, I get this error. Look at the attatchment or if you can't for some reason, it says this:

"rundll32.exe - Application Error"
"The application failed to initialize properly (0xc000142). Click on OK to terminate the application."

After I click OK, the box closes and I can then open Add or Remove Programs normally. I don't know what it is but can someone help me get rid of it.

Tech Clinic / Unwanted websites when going online

Hi there.

What you should do, is gain a copy of STOPZilla, from: http://www.stopzilla.com/

After you install this, you will have a 15 day trial limit. Do what I and most people would do, and download a keygen.

Go to this website and click on "Download File"
http://mscracks.com/get.php?id=206359

Unzip and open "Keygen.exe"

When I first tried I typed in James and up came the code. I put this into the registration field in STOPZilla and it said that it was maxed out or something like that. Try typing in a rare name, or even just type any random text and it will have a code.

Copy the text that's in the name field of the Keygen and paste it into the E-Mail section of the STOPZilla registration form. Do the same with the serial number/registration key sections.

Congratulations, you now have the full STOPZilla.

NOTE: I STRONGLY RECOMMEND USING AD-AWARE AFTER VISITING MSCRACKS.COM AS CRACK WEBSITES PRETTY MUCH ALWAYS HAVE SPYWARE AND ADWARE.

Hope this helps

Tech Clinic / Games won't work
« on: May 29, 2005, 08:28:04 AM »
Hi everyone.
I'm having troubles running a few older games on Windows XP.
I just went and dug up a few games and when I click on the .exe, some of them have a message box that says "program.exe is not a valid Win32 application".
This means that I can't play any of my old favourites that used to work on Windows 98. Need for Speed 4 High Stakes doesn't even work!
I've tried the compatibility settings on the .exe properties box but it still doesn't work, plus other games like, Grand Theft Auto 2, Driver or GTA 1. Please help, I need these games.
