no problems opening the exe files

but in the run command
i typed

regedit /eC:\find.txt "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\exefile\shell\open\command"

and nothing happened

the file size says 117 mb
that seems really big doesn't it ?

i wasn't sure how to clear the cache earlier so i never did

also that whole bold line does nothing when pasted into
run

i got it
there was a bunch of numbers added after the .exe

so i renamed it and it worked brilliantly

it says windows cannot open this file

to open this file windows needs to know what program created it.

either use the web service to find the program
or
select the program from a list

?

hi sorry to start yet another thread but i don't want to take over someone's elses thread

i've run all my spyware adaware and msn and find spyware threats and it says it is deleting them, but continually i get these messages that these programs are trying to access the internet

nail.exe
thnall1ac.exe
and something else
transponder at a better internet or something
can i post my hijack this log here for anyone to look at ?
i don't have a clue what to do with it now that i've run it

and thanks for any help anyone can give
