Okay, I've asked several other people if they have this problem and all have said they do not see what I see, so I'm assuming I'm the only one I know having this problem.
My dad stupidly reset my computer to "factory settings" about two and a half years ago and it royally fxcked up my computer. Most of the registered libraries (including shell and others) had to be reregistered, all programs had to be reinstalled (including windows), and several other things, in addition to any problems I'm bound to have in the future.
But anyway, here's my story.
I'm working on a "web site" for a friend and he wants to have semitransparent (translucent?) tables so that the background image on the page shows up "slightly" behind the table, thus the semitransparency.
The problem for me is that when I view the page, half the table disappears and it cuts off the content to make an empty space sort of. I'll attach/link to a screen shot at the end of this post. . .
It only happens when I use the following filter in CSS:
filter: alpha(opacity=50);I assume it'll happen no matter what the opacity level is. . .
But as I mentioned before, I seem to be the only person I know that is having this problem.
Might anybody have a possible solution to this?
