Hardware / wireless projector

customer has laptop and projector. projector has s-video, rca, monitor ports, but no usb. not sure exact model but i can get this later.

anyone point me to article on this or have any general information at least until i can find out exactly what projector?

they call it a breakout box and sell it with an nvidia logo on it. there has to be a cheaper way to acheive the same thing (svideo to rca). where can i buy a device like this?

Software / proxy setup

i want to use a proxy so that when i go to websites like ipchicken.com it doesnt show the address that my isp assigned to me.
how do i configure this? will this eat up memory or cpu time? are some ways better than others?
