Hardware / Determining CPU Temp

Hi there,
My mate is using an AMD Athlon XP 2000+ that is rather slow and frequently freezes. My theory is that the CPU temp is too high. Hes using a Gigiabyte GA-7VKMP motherboard, does anybody have some software to determine the CPU temp - will Sisoft Sandra do the job?

I'm downloading windows XP Sp2, the one that u can install on multiple machines. Well, i was wondering if SP2 includes Sp1a aswell?

Get ZoneAlarm Pro (not free) & Spybot 1.3 (free)
Yep avg antivirus is xclnt! Zonealarm free edition will do the job. Try Adaware SE rather than spybot.

try dvdshrink. it allows you to:
a)decrypt copy protected dvd's
b)change reigon codes to be evn reigon free
c)burn dual-layer movies onto single layer discs via compression
d)re-author the dvd i.e. cutting out what you don't want

my friend has the same prob at the moment. his computer has a few trojans on it will need to be reloaded. i removed heaps of spyware and stuff off it but it didnt make any difference. both avg antivirus and nortons 2003 did absolutley nuthing about it. back up your files and do a reload.
