« on: May 06, 2007, 04:45:59 AM »
Hello,
This must be possible. I want to share some Folders so that I can move files from one PC to the other and vis versa. Do I need a HUB between the 2PCs?
Or is a USB cable enought?

Hardware / HDD temperature : how to control?
« on: July 04, 2005, 01:07:18 AM »
Hello,
As soon as I start my PC the HD temperature is 56° C! http://images.thetechguide.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dry.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\'<_<\' />
I will check my temp with a finger. http://images.thetechguide.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':P\' />
But first I need to move the PC and open the box so that I can see where I put my finger http://images.thetechguide.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\'\' />  !!!

Hello, http://images.thetechguide.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dry.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\'<_<\' />
I run on my PC 2 HDD
1/ Maxtor 6Y060L0 61 GB
2/ Maxtor 6E040L0 41 GB

My 61 GB HD runs at 66° C, my 41 GB runs at 38° C , these value are given by the program HD Tune 2.10 Hard Disk Utility .

Are these figures correct? 66°C is quite hot !!  http://images.thetechguide.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/huh.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\'\' />
How can I control the accuracy of the temp?
Thanks in advance.
