Tech Clinic / msmsgs.exe

guestolo, by the time you see this message, I have already resolve the problem of the msmsgs.exe. I found it in the old version Messenger directory and rename it so that it will not run again and at the same time I downloaded the latest version of MSN messenger software. This problem has thus cease to appear on my task bar.

By the way I have post another questions on this forum yesterday regarding installing Yahoo Messenger which I face problem, wonder if you can help advise me.

Hi, while trying to download and install the Yahoo Messenger, I received a message that due to XP SP2 in my PC, I can not install the YM, when I persist on, the IE showed me a message that said that I do not have enough priviledge as a administrator to install the program although I have already logged in as an adminstrator. Can someone advise me what really is the problem.

I read from some of the tech website that msmsgs.exe is a worm and should be gotten rid of, can anyone advise how I can do that as it is appearing in my task manager and even though I chose the "end process" but it still keep on appearing after a few minutes.

Tech Clinic / Ad-Aware SE Personal

Hi everyone,

I just installed the Ad-aware SE PERSONAL 1.06 and tried to download the definition update, however, my pc kept giving me the message that the downloaded definition can not be read, can anyone advise me what could be the problem that I have encountered?
