Reactivating windows xp
« on: January 26, 2004, 07:46:10 PM »
Hey everyone, I recently installed windows xp on my computer on a 20 gig harddrive, since I was trying to get it working, I activated for some reason even though I wasn't planning on keeping it, and now when I formatted and swapped an 80 gig in, windows xp won't let me activate it.

I already installed service pack 1, and now when I go to activate xp, it says the number of time I can activate Windows with this product key has been exceeded, and it wants another.

Is there some set number of times you can activate windows xp, or do I have to wait 3 months?
