I've been tinkering around with my Windows XP boot screen. I found a guide to doing it on this site, though no matter what I do to the image, I still have to reduce it to the 16 color palatte before I put it back into the ntsko...exe file. Is there some way to increase the palatte size or trick XP into thinking it's only a 4 bit image? Any help would be greatly appriciated. Thanks!
