ATI All In Wonder 128 Pro
« on: January 29, 2004, 04:42:53 AM »
I have a problem with XP and my ATI All In Wonder 128 Pro Card. The card used to work with XP before and it works on my other computer which also has XP...but on this computer, in which I have it installed, XP recongizes it as ATI Radeon AGP when its ATI All In Wonder 128PRO AGP.  You see when I first built this computer and installed XP it asked for the cd with the drivers  for my video card but I couldnt find it so I got online and downloaded it and installed the wrong one. Eversince then it's been thinking its ATI radeon. I format the harddrive and reinstall everything but it does the same thing...Does anyone have any solution or idea how I can fix it?  http://images.thetechguide.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dry.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\'<_<\' />    http://images.thetechguide.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':(\' />     http://images.thetechguide.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/huh.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\'\' />

If you have formated the drive then the wrong driver you installed is indeed gone.  Are you uninstalling all the ATI software & drivers in Add/Remove Programs before installing the downloaded one.  By the way I have a 9700 PRO A-I-W  with cable on demand and Remote Wonder 1 & 2.  http://images.thetechguide.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\'\' />  http://images.thetechguide.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':P\' />
