I have an interesting problem that has been occurring over the past year. I bought a Daewoo 17” TFT 207 HMM207 LCD monitor and it quit displaying anything in DOS.
I’m running Win98SE and my video is a LEADTEK Winfast A250 card. I’ve not had this problem with my CRT monitor and in fact when I can plug it in and DOS is displayed.
Everything worked fine at first and after a while the Daewoo stopped showing DOS. After a few months I had a power surge/outage and when the power came back up I discovered that I could read DOS. Well I had a power outage again and DOS is invisible again.
I don’t feel like waiting for the electricity to fail again to fix it and feel that some setting being changed with the outages but I have no idea what.
Any suggestions?
