Great!!
I have followed all of the directions online to the "t" about creating my own boot screen.  I have paint shop 8 and can't figure out how to load the 16.pal so that I can view the 1.bmp I saved from the ntoskml.exe file.  If someone could please give me a thorough guide on how to open the 16.pal in paint shop.  Thats the part where I am stuck.  I can't get past that.  I'd really appreciate so feedback please!!

ok first copy the file 16.pal, then go to your My PSP8 Files folder in my documents, find pallettes open it and paste it in there then it will show up, when you select from the top menus (Image/palettes/Load Palette) you have to have it open in order for all of the options to show up, i'm having difficulties with ResHack getting memory violations when i try to replace BMP 1....but that is how you load the palettes

you guys really do need to just read the tutorial  Shift + o takes you into the pallete options
