I recently installed sp2 and most all seems to be ok with the exception of an external usb hard drive. This device worked flawlessly using sp1.
After ther system recognizes the device as a usb it finds the drivers and when trying to install it stops with a msg "there was a problem installing this hardware: usb mass storage device an error occured during the installation of the device the data is invalid."
I would appreciate any suggestions to correct this problem. The external case did not come with a driver cd. The device is still recognized by system running sp1.
