« on: September 25, 2001, 07:52:58 AM »
Hi there, got a question.

Is it possible to bypass the upgrade check for win2k pro?
So i don\'t have to show my NT4 CD during installation.

It would be nice.

The information for WinXP may be relevant.  Fool around with the numbers in setupp.ini some, tell me if it works.  www.thetechguide.com/howto/setuppini.html.

The way to bypass this is to change the PID from 51874000 to 51873000, which fools the system into full version vs. upgrade version.
