Need more info
Did you receive any funny email that contained a virus possibly

When you say it won't start all the way
How far do you get?
Can you start in Safe Mode? >>>Try tapping the F8 key as the system is booting up, any errors getting into safe mode

Any errors getting to Normal mode

http://images.thetechguide.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\';)\' />  im sorry i didnt explain this well, lets see, i turn the computer on and it only can get to the image of the windows 98 logo, so i went online to look for an answer and someone said to get a win98 bootdisk, so i downloaded one to a floppy and stuck it in the computer a then when i started up the computer and i got to the screen where it says start computer with cdrom support yadda yadda yadda and i choose a choice of start computer without cdrom support, but that didnt work, it just stays there. i cant get it to start even in safe mode. so i was hoping someone could give me some help?

p.s. i havent used this computer in years

and i think the problem is not enough memory like himem.exe to get it started http://images.thetechguide.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/huh.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\'\' />
