I was infected with the SmartSecurity Desktop Hijack. Thanks to some of the other posts in this forum, I have been able to successfully get rid of the red desktop, I can right click on the desktop, I can now customize my desktop. The only thing I have not been able to fix is the desktop shortcut icon duplication. In one of the other threads someone mentions copying a file called Fixdesktop.reg. I have not been able to figure out how to download this. On the threads there is no link to that file to be able to download it. Can anyone help?
