I may throw my computer out the window....
« on: May 08, 2005, 06:15:15 AM »
Hi,

My computer is starting to grind to a hault, I have run various spyware aps and virus removal but it continues to get slower and slower - boot up is now almost 5 mins. I have been told that if I post a HJT log some solutions might present themselves.

Please help or even advise where I could get help if this isn't the right place!

Thanks in advance,

Oisin.

I may throw my computer out the window....

I see a possible problem
But could I have you do the following
One requirement to posting a hijackthis log is to register to the forum
It's a simple process, can you register
And post back a fresh hijackthis log

Before you post a new log to this thread, can I also have you restart your computer

On restart, don't try and fix anything, I want to see the whole infected log

Also, if your running McAfee's virus scan and AVG, this can cause conflicts
I would only use the one your happiest with and unstall the other AV

Do you want to post your own logs from FRST?

Follow the instructions posted http://www.thetechguide.com/forum/index.php/topic/22942-please-read-how-to-post-logs-from-frst/\'>Click Here
