So yesterday I repartitioned my entire 2 hard disks and formatted etc. (because of a previous issue with partition magic already). I'll list everything possible that I can tell you, just so we can be sure. Anyway, I used fdisk, deleted all previous partitions, created 2 partitions on each hard drive ((2 hard drives)- with the intention of having an OS partition as C: (5 gigs or so), the rest free space. second hard drive i had mostly free space and a small partition for the page file. by the way, should I have formatted the drives while only one partition occupied the whole drive instead of re-partitioning and formatting each smaller one? (nevermind, i'm just completely stumped) anyway so i install windows, everything is fine, windows recognizes all of my partitions, but i decided i wanted to re-size a couple of the partitions a bit, maybe add one extra partition, etc. i installed partition magic, first on drive C: with windows, just because i thought it might avoid potential problems in some way, open the program to edit my setup, and it recognizes only one partition out of the 4, the windows C: partition. nothing else is there, all of my other hard drive is "unallocated" and the other partition on drive C: is god knows where, but it only lists the free space that is left on the small partition of drive C:. The total of the hard drive is listed, but it only lists under free space the 1 gig or so left in the windows C: partition of the drive. Anyway, why does windows recognize all of my harddrives but partition magic has no clue? Maybe something to do with the page file being located on a different hard drive? i'm clueless...
