can anyone interp. this for me so i am not blindly deleting stuff from my computer (probably what got me into this mess in the first place!)

The most important step before we tackle your log is too install some Windows UPDates

Please access the following link

Download and Install Service Pack 1a
Restart when prompted
Don't install Service Pack 2 at this time, we can do this after you are clear of all malware

After doing the above
Come back here and post a fresh hijackthis log
