Fire Fox Bug

Does anyone know how to fix the fire fox profile in use problem? Fire Fox refuses to open some times.
So far I have gone around it by alt + Control + Del and closing the processes.

What version of Firefox are you running?

I believe that problem is fixed in version 1.07
and should definitely be rectified in version 1.5 scheduled later this year

I normally like to uninstall my old version and reinstall the newest version
Stick with 1.07
1.5 is in beta right now

I currently have version 1.07; however, it is not doing it as much as 1.05 version. I guess I will need a clean install. Thanks for the reply

The site recommended the same solution that I figured out:
Alt + Control + Del and closing the processes.

"The application may not have shut down completely the last time it was used. Check for any open windows. Go through your list of running processes to see if the application is still running in the background. If it is, ending that process should unlock the profile."

Thanks for the link

Sorry, there's no way around that.  You have to use task manager to kill off any stray processes when this issue pops up (of course, double-check that all windows are indeed closed).
