So, you wanna know about the freeipod deal? First off, is it a scam? No, you have to sign up online and purchase an offer (between $0 and $30) You have to use a credit card to secure the offer. Why? Because all of the offers (even the free ones like Ebay) hope to have you in a position that you can easily use thier service in the future. They're hoping for impulse buys. Like with ebay, by signing up with your card you are ready to bid, they hope you'll get hooked: you might, E-Bay is pretty awesome!!! Is your credit info safe?-of course. FreeIpod.com uses verisign which a VERY safe and reputable company. Your credit info will not be sold to marketing firms. So whats the catch? FreeIpod is a marketing company that lures you in with an Ipod, but you have to refer 5 people in order to get your Ipod, and they all have to partake in an offer. Thier hope is that you won't be able to get 5 people, but will get a few in the process and they have sold you (and a few other people) on a few products. FreeIpod markets for some of the biggest companies in the world (Blockbuster, Time Warner, etc) They will offer services those companies offer. So is it impossible to refer 5 people? No, my brother, my dad and my friend all got 1 and posted on the internet for about 3 weeks and eventually got all of thier Ipods. But they all had to post regularily on different sites like this one. Can you sign up and then quit the offer?-No, FreeIpod waits until your credit transaction has gone through and can verify that you've fulfulled this obligation. Then your status on your FreeIpod will be updated and will reflect your completion of this aspect of the deal. In addition to that, your account will show anyone who has signed up as a referral, but will not OFFICIALLY count them until thier credit has gone through. Generally the whole process, if you work at it, will take 1-3 months from the time you sign up until the time you get your Ipod, the cost? $0-$10 average, and an hour or two a week posting. A pretty good deal. So that's it, and oh yeah, conga lines are usually a scam. The one person who organises the thing abandons the whole endeavor as soon as the get thier pod. You gotta post to get referrals. So, the big question, I've given one of the best (a certainly most honest) posts on the web. If you still want the pod can you click the link below? You can sign up and start the whole process and in doing so help a guy out, come on, be a pal!!! Good luck and giv'r.
