Can you do the following please

First of all, redownload Hijackthis from my signature below and save it too a permanent folder on your drive
Only run hijackthis from this new location

==Download and Install this small program
to help clean your temp folders,cookies, etc...
Windows Cleanup! 4.0
Don't run this yet, we'll need it in a bit

==Download and then Install
Ewido Security Suite

When installing, under "Additional Options" Uncheck "Install background guard" and "Install scan via context menu".

From the main ewido screen, click on Update in the left menu, then click the Start update button.
After the update finishes (the status bar at the bottom will display "Update successful")
Close out Ewido for now, we'll need it later
If for some reason the Updater won't work can you manually download the
Updates from this link after you have Ewido installed
http://www.ewido.net/en/download/updates/

==Download and save too desktop or a folder
The Standalone version of CWShredder.exe
We'll need this later

Please print this out or save these instructions to notepad for reference

RESTART your Computer in SAFE MODE
You can do this by tapping the F8 key as the system is restarting, just before Windows loads, or use the link
I supplied for a more detailed explanation
Stay disconnected from the Internet

Go to START>>RUN>>type in the following lines in bold exactly into the open field then click OK
Or copy and paste them in
Enter this line

sc stop cmdService
Hit OK

Then the next one
sc delete cmdService
Hit OK

Set Windows To Show Hidden Files and Folders
    * Click Start.
    * Open My Computer.
    * Select the Tools menu and click Folder Options.
    * Select the View Tab.
    * Under the Hidden files and folders heading select Show hidden files and folders.
    * Uncheck the Hide protected operating system files (recommended) option.
    * Uncheck the Hide Extensions for known file types
    * Click Yes to confirm.
    * Click OK.

Find and delete the following files or folders if found and if you can remove them
C:\windows\sp2update00.exe <-this file
C:\WINDOWS\system32\j06mlaj11do.dll <-file
C:\WINDOWS\system32\st3.dll <-file
C:\WINDOWS\q9300281.dll <-file
c:\secure32.html <-file

C:\WINDOWS\SWtrZQAA <-this folder

Search for the next files and delete them if found
msxml22.exe
nicloader.exe
mcvsshId.exe

==Open Windows CleanUp!>>START>>programs>>Cleanup!
Click on the CleanUp button, let it finish scanning for files, when it's done
DECLINE to Log off or Restart when scan is done.

==Open Ewido Security Suite
Click on the Scanner button on the left menu
Select Complete System Scan
*If Ewido finds something it will prompt you with "Infected Object found"
Ensure the following are Selected
  *1. Perform Action = Remove
  *2. Create Encrypted Backup in Quarantine (Recommended)
  *3. Perform action with all infections
  Then click OK
When Ewido has finished it's scan click the "Save Report" button
Save the report to desktop
Exit Ewido

Do another scan with Hijackthis and put a check next to these entries:

I asked you too redownload hijackthis from my signature below and save it too a permanent folder on your hard drive
Can you do that now please

Download L2mfix from here

http://www.atribune.org/downloads/l2mfix.exe

Save the file to your desktop and double click l2mfix.exe. Click the Install button to extract the files and follow the prompts, then open the newly added l2mfix folder on your desktop. Double click l2mfix.bat and select option #1 for Run Find Log by typing 1 and then pressing enter. This will scan your computer and it may appear nothing is happening, then, after a minute or 2, notepad will open with a log. Copy the contents of that log and paste it into this thread.

IMPORTANT:  Do NOT run option #2 OR any other files in the l2mfix folder until you are asked to do so!

Do you want to post your own logs from FRST?

Follow the instructions posted http://www.thetechguide.com/forum/index.php/topic/22942-please-read-how-to-post-logs-from-frst/\'>Click Here

Close any programs you have open since this step requires a reboot.

From the l2mfix folder on your desktop, double click l2mfix.bat and select option #4 by typing 4 and then pressing Enter

Then select option #2 for Run Fix by typing 2 and then pressing enter, then press any key to reboot your computer. After a reboot, your desktop and icons will appear, then disappear (this is normal). L2mfix will continue to scan your computer and when it's finished, notepad will open with a log. Copy the contents of that log and paste it back into this thread, along with a new hijackthis log.

IMPORTANT:  Do NOT run any other files in the l2mfix folder unless you are asked to do so!

NOTE:After restart and L2MFIX finishes scanning for files>>give this time to finish
If a text doesn't open, run the "second.bat" located inside the L2mfix folder

Hello again, you have a stubborn infection related to look2me

Can you do the following please

Please download Webroot's SpySweeper

* Click the Free Trial link under to "SpySweeper" to download the program.
* Install it.
* Once the program is installed, it will open.
* It will prompt you to update to the latest definitions, click Yes.
* Make sure the definitions are right up to date
Once the definitions are installed

Disconnect from the Internet completely, close down all unnecessary programs running in the background, including this Window

Open SpySweeper
# Click Sweep Now
# Click the Start button.
# When it's done scanning, click the Next button.
# Make sure everything has a check next to it, then click the Next button.
# It will remove all of the items found.

Allow the computer to reboot or reboot NOW after you are finished with SpySweeper

Back in Windows, this may take a few reboots, but stay completely disconnected from the Internet

=====================================================
Run L2MFix again with these instructions
From the l2mfix folder on your desktop, double click l2mfix.bat and select option #2 for Run Fix by typing 2 and then pressing enter, then press any key to reboot your computer. After a reboot, your desktop and icons will appear, then disappear (this is normal). L2mfix will continue to scan your computer and when it's finished, notepad will open with a log

 If the L2MFix doesn't run after the restart, then go into the L2M fix folder and double click on second.bat to run it.
=====================================================

Don't do nothing with the log yet, instead run L2MFix again with the above instructions, do this one or 2 more times
sometimes this infection can be removed running SpySweeper and L2Mfix a few times

When you have finished running L2Mfix a few times, can you come back here and post a fresh hijackthis log and the final log from L2Mfix

If the above won't work, I would like to try one more method

That looks better, we still have some cleanup to do

I want to make sure you can finish the scan with Ewidos
If things are better can you do the following

Disable System Restore
But don't restart the computer yet

Do another scan with Hijackthis and put a check next to these entries:

R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page = http://www.startpagina.nl/
R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page_bak = http://www.startpagina.nl/
R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Local Page = about:blank

After you have ticked the above entries, close All other open windows, including this one
Leave Hijackthis open and click FIX CHECKED
OK the prompt and exit Hijackthis

Restart your computer

Back in Windows, Enable system restore

How to Disable and Re-enable System Restore feature

Once you have reenable system restore

Open Windows CleanUp! and run the scan
Don't log off or restart afterwards
Instead

Open Ewido
From the main ewido screen, click on Update in the left menu, then click the Start update button.
After the update finishes (the status bar at the bottom will display "Update successful")

If for some reason the Updater won't work can you manually download the
Updates from this link
http://www.ewido.net/en/download/updates/

Click on the Scanner button on the left menu
Select Complete System Scan
*If Ewido finds something it will prompt you with "Infected Object found"
Ensure the following are Selected
  *1. Perform Action = Remove
  *2. Create Encrypted Backup in Quarantine (Recommended)
  *3. Perform action with all infections
  Then click OK
When Ewido has finished it's scan click the "Save Report" button
Save the report to desktop
Exit Ewido
Note: When Ewido is running it's scan, don't open any other windows
Let it do it's job

Come back here and post the report from Ewidos and a new hijackthis log

 Are you purposely set through a proxy server?

According too your log. I see you have an ISP from the Netherlands

But according to the proxy server your using
It comes from
the following address, which may be legit
http://www.dnsstuff.com/tools/whois.ch?ip=193.168.1.254

If this doesn't look right too you can you do the following please
Have hijackthis fix this entry
R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings,ProxyServer = 193.168.1.254:8080
Reboot the computer

# Open Internet Explorer. Click on tools, then Internet Options. Then click on the Connect tab.

# Then press the Lan Settings button and uncheck the Use a proxy server checkbox. Then press OK until you are out of the options screen.
Restart IE

If you have trouble connecting after that just reverse the proxy setting in IE
Restore the backup hijackthis made and then reboot again

Let me know how everythings running

I think this is my wireless Sitecom router. So that looks okay.

At the moment the popups have been stopped (for now)

Thanx very much.

Ok then, that entry must be legit

Some final cleanup
If everything is running better, please do the following
You should disable system restore>>>reboot>> and then reenable it
This will clear all your restore points and ensure you don't restore any nasties
How to Disable and Re-enable System Restore feature

Once System Restore is reenabled

You should set up protection against future attacks
SpywareBlaster 3.4 by JavaCool
*Will block bad ActiveX Controls
*Block Malevolent cookies in Internet Explorer and Firefox
*Restrict actions of potentially dangerous sites in Internet Explorer
After installation, Check for updates and then click the "Enable all protection"

IE-SPYAD puts over 5000 sites in your restricted zone so you'll be protected when you visit innocent-looking sites that aren't actually innocent at all.
Here is a tutorial and download link
TUTORIAL==Link to Tutorial
Download link

With both, Check for updates every couple of weeks
Keep the link to IE-Spyad bookmarked so you can check for updates
SpywareBlaster, after every update just simply click the "enable all protection"
IE-Spyad is compatible with SP2 as well

EDIT>>Not sure if your version of XP is legit
But if it is
Please download and install SP2
