Just a followup

Do you have Windows CleanUp!?
If not

==Download and Install this small program
to help clean your temp folders,cookies, etc...
Windows Cleanup! 4.0

==Open Cleanup! by double-clicking the icon on your desktop (or from the Start > All Programs menu).
Set the program up as follows:
Click "Options..."
Move the arrow down to "Custom CleanUp!"
Put a check next to the following (Make sure nothing else is checked!):

* Empty Recycle Bins
* Delete Cookies
* Delete Prefetch files
* Cleanup! All Users

Click OK
Press the CleanUp! button to start the program.

Reboot your computer
Back in Windows
Go to START>>RUN>>type in
cmd
at the prompt type in

ipconfig /flushdns
Hit Enter

Type exit
Hit Enter

Open IE>>
go to TOOLS>>Internet options>>Under the Content tab
Clear SSL slate

Close Ie and restart it, any help?

I see your using a proxy server with IE
Is that set the same in Firefox?
Open firefox>>Click on TOOLS>>Options>>Click on the General tab
Connections Settings>>Are you set a Direct connection, Auto detect, or manual proxy config????

Also
Can you open hijackthis>>open misc tools section>>Open Hosts file manager>>click the "OPen In Notepad" button
A text file should open, can you copy and paste the contents back here please

Since Firefox works well but you have problems with IE
Why don't you bypass the proxy server your going through
That's all I can think must be giving you the problems

Right click the IE icon and left click properties
Under the Connections tab
Do the following
Under LAN settings
Uncheck ALL
OK out of there
Reboot the computer

Any better?
