white and striped screen when freezing

Hi, i need help with my new computer. My computer freeze and the screen turns either white or striped. I can't see any pattern when it happen. The first time it happened i had only installed the norton internet security that was on the computer when i bought it and used some cd-rom with my private pictures on, i hadn't even connected the computer to internet. This is the third computer i have with the same problem, i have returned tha other to and i got new ones so in the last week i have had three different computers. I don't think that i do anything but they tell me at the store that i am the only person that have this problem with the computers.

What is the common demoninator that effects all the computers your trying??
Are you always using the same monitor and the same monitor cable
Are they completely giving you a new computer every time??

Why don't you have them run it at the shop and see what's causing the problem before you take it?
Or it could possibly be something your installing

What are your power options set to
Screen saver enabled?
Hibernate?

What make and model of computer is this?
