I have a small network where all machines are running windows xp pro including the server. I am trying to create a simple batch file to shutdown all computers and when trying it on just one, i get an error message saying access is denied.
On the few machine i have tried this the option to allow remote user to access the machine is turned on and the windows firewall is disabbled.
I down loaded the freeware, "Shutdown" program and tried it and it says the "connection was reset by peer"
Help?
