Can you download the following please
Download and save to your desktop
Aimfix.exe by Jayloden

Do a "System scan only" with Hijackthis and put a check next to these entries:

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [ViewMgr] C:\Program Files\Viewpoint\Viewpoint Manager\ViewMgr.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Search Bar] C:\WINDOWS\taskbar.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [itunes] C:\dialer.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Zip Master] C:\dials.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [SunJavaUpdateSched] C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.5.0_05\bin\jusched.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [TkBellExe] "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Real\Update_OB\realsched.exe" -osboot

After you have ticked the above entry, close All other open windows
Including this one
Leave Hijackthis open and click FIX CHECKED
OK the prompt and exit Hijackthis

Double click on Aimfix.exe and follow the prompts
Reboot your computer afterwards

Back in Windows, find and delete these files please if found, exact file names and locations
C:\WINDOWS\taskbar.exe
C:\dialer.exe
C:\dials.exe

Come back here and post a fresh hijackthis log please

Also, can I see another log from Hijackthis
Reopen Hijackthis>>Click on Misc tools>>Uninstall Manager
Click the SAVE LIST.. button
Save the list too desktop and copy and paste the contents back here too please

This will give me a good idea of what protection she has, and what needs removed
We will get her an AV and other tools to keep her computer protected
All free of course if she would like to go that route
