For about the last two weeks I\'ve been having this problem with an ATA card. I have 4 hard drives plugged into this card and about once or twice a week those four drives will just disappear from the system. In order to have them available again I have to change the card to a different PCI slot and reboot, once I reboot a check disk starts deleting files and I have to go back in and display hidden OS files and then I\'ll find the missing files located in a hidden folder named \"found.001\". Can anyone explain this problem to me?
I realize that this doesn\'t exactly fit under the software category but I assume that I will get more feedback under the software category. Thanks for any help.
