I know with Win9x there is a way to buffer by adding a line to a .ini file as explained on speedguide.net
I was wondering if anyone knew how to do same thing on Win2k
I have tried same thing but seen no improvement.
Maybe its working but Win2k is well enough configured that there is no noticeable improvement.
I know when I did this on Win98 it was very noticable improvement.
I would like to dedicate memory to IRQ\'s that controls my Network Card and CD-RW drive for buffering.
If this is no longer possible to do from ini file and/or if there is another way to do same thing by doing something else (ex: editing registory) Please let me know.\'
Any thought to be good links are also being asked for please.
