Pc Crashing

EVerytime I run a game i.e Warrock,Halo, or battlefield 1942 and any downloaded games my pc keeps on crashing like it totally shut down and i have to wait 2 minutes to turn it back on. also its making this weird loud hummind noise now, b4 it was all silent but now sumtin is wrong and i dont know what. can someone please help me, and I know this might sound .... noobish but how do i find out my com. It sounds as if it's overheating
Could also possibly the Power supply is going?
Have you cleaned the inside of the computer with compressed air?

Where from the computer is the noise coming from?

Ah, I dont rember the last time i cleaned my pc with comprssed air but i'll do it as soona s possible and see if the noise stops. The noise is coming from the power box inside the computer which is where I attach the other end plug into.
