Ok, so, I use Windows and Ubuntu. I have a Radeon X1300 Pro video card. I just installed Ubuntu couple days ago, switching from freespire. My video card has a problem before I install the proper driver (but not in freespire). Whenever I scroll or move windows, I get a wierd "wave" across my screen. It works fine in Windows, now that I have the proper driver installed, but not in Ubuntu, and it won't let me install the driver from
www.ati.com. I get the message of "Access Denied" in the terminal. Is there a way I can fix this in Ubuntu (with GNOME)?
