how to recover a dynamic volume with Failed status
« on: February 09, 2002, 04:48:19 AM »
Hello everybody

I added a new 20GB HD to my computer running Windows 2000 Professional. Consequently an existing

Fat32 10GB HD with a simple dynamic volume turned into a Failed status. I disconnected the new

20GB HD in hope that everything will return to its previous healthy condition, to my dismay it did not

help.
I tried to reactivate the volume but to no avail. It shows
a Failed icon with 100% free space (although almost 66% of it has data which is valuable to me).

Can anybody help?
