Preinstalling Drivers

Is there a utility to pre-install a driver into the i386 folder and there by not require user intervention to load the driver when the hardware is detected?

Depends on both the hardware and type of drivers we are talking about.  Any plug and pray devices can be loaded simply by coping over the drivers during an unattend/oem install.  The OS will install for you at that point.  RAID controllers and custom HAL\'s have to be loaded in a unattend command prior to the true start of the install.
