hey im kinda a newb to overclocking....but im tryin to bet juss a lil bit more proformance...can yall help...


Stats:

P3 733 Coppermine (running at 728 mhz, 133 fsb, 5.5 multiplier )

128 DDR 2700

dunno bout motherboard

crappy Savage4 AGP video card

Well to O/C you can change the bus or multiplier or both. I'm a AMD guy but I think you can change the multiplier on the P3 if you BIOS will let you. If so I would change it to 6 and try it. Upping the bus is riskier because you can cause system instibility if your hardware can't take the increased speeds. I'm running a Athlon 1.4 @ 1.6G fully stable.
