Hi again.

in answer to

(1) to cut a long story short the supplier of my p.c turned out to be a bit of a shady character and used pirated versions of Windows  O.S and I am informed of so when updates pop up.

(2) the settings on I.E were as you recommended set already.

Does my system now show clean?

if so I  thank you very much for all of your assistance and your knowledge can only be admired.
