Hi, I\'m really new here, so if by any means my question had been asked and answered before, please kindly show me the URL, thanks in advance.
We\'re a Microsoft Cert. Partner having full MSDN & TechNet(forgot which) subscription. One of the CDs they sent to us is a 3-in-1 Windows 2000 installation CD (all Prof, Server, Adv. Server are in there). Browsing and calculating the file size, it\'s a 1.15 GB total which make sense since the editions are about almost 400 MB each. However, if we look at the CD drive Properties, it shows 486 MB used space which also make sense since a large part of the files are actually identical.
Having this condition would actually be a very benefit for us that we don\'t need to bring so much CDs in the wallet. The problem is, however, the CD is not bootable, where it\'s a severely pain in the ass having to create bootdisk before installation can take place. And another issue is we\'re hardly able to make a slipstreamed version of this 3-in-1 CD.
Anyone here has any idea how to make this disc bootable, and much better, how to make a slipstreamed 3-in-1 bootable version? Is there any recording tool that would smartly identify the identical files and arrange it in a way to be fit into one CD?
