Router issue
« on: January 19, 2007, 05:32:02 PM »
I have a Netgear WGR614 v4, it has worked great up until now, where the wireless connection will randomly work sometime and other times be completley diconnected.  I don't think it is an issue with the modem, as it works fine when it is plugged into the computer...

Well... That happened

Are you sure the computer is virus free?
I'm sure you checked, but take a look at the bottom suggestion at NetGear's site
http://kbserver.netgear.com/main.asp

Also, take a look at this link Allanon, not malware related issues
http://kbserver.netgear.com/kb_web_files/n100772.asp
Taken from Here
http://kbserver.netgear.com/products/wgr614v4.asp

If unsure about virus issue, as a double check why not post a Hijackthis log
Wouldn't hurt to take a look

I think it may have just been the router's age (4 years) we went and got a new linksys router and everything is working fine.  Thanks for the advice though http://images.thetechguide.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/happy.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\'^_^\' />
