Attempted scam count today:4
All from 3 different sites, none were legitimate buyers.
I mean seriously, why waste my time and yours? Is it fun to defraud people of things they spent hours earning? Isn't the whole point of the game to accumulate whatever you want by working for it?
Of course, the whole point of this site is work in real life, and buy the stuff you want in game....but why don't the scammers just do that then?
Here's the ploy most often used by scammers to get your stuff, and I got one with a slight twist today:
Scammer: I'll buy your mils! How much each?
Jack: 6 ea ok? I'll sell for less if you buy more...
Scammer: ok, 5 ea, i'll take it all.
(Jack tries to use real mm)
(hours later...)
Jack:where did you go? stop logging in and out!
Scammer: sorry, msn problems..no mm's on now, wanna go first? or half and half?
RESULT: I'm pissed, you got nothing because I can't be that easily scammed
The moral of the story: GET A LIFE! You're not gonna get anything outta me, and you'd definitely make more money getting a job in real life.
