I have a problem,I had linux(debian),win 98 and winxp on my main box..win98 on hda1 winxp on hda5 and debians boot partition on hdc1.
I reinstalled 98 and was able to restore lilo so I can now boot to linux or win98...however no xp...I was dumb and formatted the xp partition as ntfs,so i cant access it at all.
Anyone here know how to restore it so i get the little menu that has xp and 98 back?
I can always install xp on another drive and then get the data but would rather just fix it.
Also how are you supposed to reinstall 98 without hosing your xp??or 2k for that matter.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
