im running a hp pavillion tx1000 and i need ton upgrade from windows vista home premium to windows vista ultimate so i can connect to my schools server. However i get a error message when the upgrade installation is on the installing files procedure. i am using the windows vista easy upgrade disc.

I know others say they have better luck with a clean install
Even with the upgrade CD, I don't have Vista yet, so I can't vouch for it

You may have better luck at the thevistaforums

well i argued with microsoft and got them to refund the 160$ so im going to just buy ultimate today...
