um.. i post this juz wanna ask for help for my fren coz she can't even go on9 to ask for help..
it happens like this..
on 27/10/07 nite, someone in her contact send her the msn worm or virus (i dunnoe)
and she accidentally accept it.. if not wrong it is image14.zip
after accepting it she go and open it and whole computer go crazy..
and her msn keep sends out the thingy
she don't know wad to do and juz dlt the zip file str8 away..
the next day she on her computer, the problem starts to happen..
can only see the windows wallpaper then ntg comes out.. no toolbar NTG
then she went to last known good configuration but it lagged and cant go in..
then she tried safe mode and manage to do a system restore which went back to 26/10/07
whr she installed her printer driver..
the system restore was fast
then everythings work normal as before, msn okay, log windows normally..
then when she was creating a restore point, it lagged
so she restart it and it goes back to the same part as b4 which opens windows wif wallpaper only
then she tried at safe mode do again system restore but this time it was very very slow
after 1 hr it still dint work..
can anyone here help?
any advice or ways?
is the virus still there and how to remove it?
