Adultery is more important than 3000 deaths?
« on: March 21, 2008, 08:40:17 AM »
I'm sure you all remember the whole Bill Clinton sex scandal awhile back, but did you know that the government spent over ONE HUNDRED MILLION dollars in the investigation into the scandal? $100,000,000!

After September 11th, the government alloted $3,000,000 to the investigation of who attacked us. Thats quite a bit less... Once this $3 million was spent, out of the graciousness of their hearts (and the picket signs of the public), this figure was eventually raised to $14 Million... Still quite a bit less...

Does this make any sense to anyone?

I'm not certain on exact numbers, but the ballpark figures are correct, yes.

Guess the goverment has its own set of priorites some times =/
Wonder why it would take them $100M just to catch the president cheating on his wife, he must be good at it...
Think he will do what O.J. simpson did and write a book about how he did it lol?

Well I could come up with a bunch of reasons why...

1. Huge conspiracy involving the President.
2. Someone took responsibility for 9/11 so not much of an investigation was needed.
3. Fake numbers because I can't quite grasp how they would spend 100 million dollars on an investigation about sex.

and btw GoW if this is true its not even close to some of the [censored] the government does....

The numbers aren't fake. $39 million was spent almost immediately, followed by somewhere between $40-$50 over a period of time thereafter.
Also, Osama Bin Laden didn't "admit" to planning 9/11 for over 2 months after it occurred. Even then, an investigation was still needed because all they had was a tape of him talking about attacking, not actual proof he did it. It was quite awhile before he flat out admitted it.

And yeh, this is nowhere near as bad as the fact that the government casually admits to poisoning us in our water supply...

It is a solid fact that the amount of fluoride in water that is harmful is 2.7mg/L. Anything over this amount has been PROVEN to cause Cancer, Mild to Sever Blindness, Closing of pores, and extreme tooth decay. Yet, the federal limit on fluoridization is 3.4mg/L... The average in the US is 2.5mg/L, only .2mg/L less than what is essentially lethal. So, i encourage you all to contact your local government and find out just how much poison is being added into your water supply. The FDA even recently purchased its own bottled water company and started adding fluoride to that...

Ever wondered why the number of people with cancer has risen exponentially over the last few decades? Because the amount of fluoride in the water supply has risen greatly as well. Combine that with the 20 other things proven to cause cancer that the public denies (cell phones, charcoal, etc.), and its a wonder the human race is still around...
