Got a new Hercules 3d prophet 9700 pro and when I start my computer Iinstead of a short sound , I got a  1 second and the short one and nothing on my  monitor and my computer continues the setup .
When after the sound I push the reset button , everything returns to a normal setup on my monitor .This doesn\'t happen all the times ,sometimes there\'s also a normal setup withthe short beep and image .Does somebody has had the same problem and knows what could be the reason of this , I have a 400wat power in my PIII 700 .

rdc,

One thing you might check is how the card is plugged into the AGP slot.  If it\'s not set in just right, that could be the cause of your problems.  I\'ve ran into that problem several times.

The  odd thing is when I reset directly after the _.. alarm everything becomes normal .When I put the card into my p2 there is no problem at all  .When I start my computer in the morning everything is ok too .Has probably something to do with the  fluctuations of some power devices says the Hercules technician .(the card is directly powerd by a 12V power same as the drives) .It  is not a real problem because I know there is nothing wrong with card now .
