Major Problem: Sept 2002 ReInstalled WinXP Pro on 2nd HD with legal VLK beginning with \"FCKGW\".... install ok, dual-boot w/Win98 installed on 1st HD.Later changed Product Key ID in order to dwnLd & install SP1.After install of new Product Key went to Web, PC froze, error: missing/corrupt filesystem32ntoskrnl.exe, please reinstall a copy of the above file.Tried different ways to find/load this file, could not.
Deleted WinXP,partitioned,re-formated & reinstalled WinXP using new Key \"72hhj\"..., no password, installed ok.Nov 2002 booted into Win 98 ok, but when boot to WinXP cross link errors (sorry did not record exact info) tried to correct with ScanDisk, Defrag, Partition Magic 7.0, no success.Decided to re-install WinXP USING \"72HHJ\" key, Error: Windows Product Activation: A problem is preventing windows from accurately checking the license for this PC. Error code: 0X80070002.Using FDISK, deleted logical partition & Dos extended partition, rebooted, re-partitioned, reformated HD, & re-installed WinXP, Same Error code: 0x80070002. Then attempted using original VLK :\"FCKGW\" after FDISK, etc. Have attempted above four times & continue to receive the same Error code: 0x80070002.Have tried Microsoft\'s site, Registry Hacks (HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINES.. to \"RegDone\" key value change from 1 to 0, Editing the boot.ini File, & none of these suggestions worked!!! Any NEW Suggestions PLEASE??
