My computer runs slow on startup

Hi, as the title says, my computer is running pretty slow especially on startup, ie when i start up, i cant clickt he start menu without the computer hanging for a few seconds, and it takes like 10 seconds to open internet, also internet explorer seems to slow down alot and usually stops responding after having a certain browser open for a few hours.

Heres my specs:

CPU: C2D E8400 @ 3.6 Ghz
MOB: Asus P5Q SE
RAM: 2x2GB Kingston ValueRAM DDR800
GPU: PNY 8800 GTS 512MB (G92)
HDD: 250GB SATA II
PSU: OCZ 500w Stealth X Stream

Now i know its not the best in the world, but it shouldnt hang on startup and stuff should it?

i have upgraded half my computer in the last few weeks and im still having problems, heres the things iv changed, all followed by fresh install of windows, memory, hard drive, motherboard, power supply.

i cant imagine what could be causing it, iv made lots of posts on other forums and had no real conclusion as to whats wrong.

I have just brought an old e4500 off my cousin and it still runs about the same, so i cant think what it could be, i have also jsut replaced my dvd drive because it was dodgy.

Im gonna order a new graphics card in a few days too, though i dont see how my gfx could be causing this, its time for a upgrade anyway.

So in summary, since these problems started i have replaced everything except my gfx and im still having problems, do you think its possible that my graphics card is causing these problems or do you think its a driver or software confliction?

I'm not seeing anything wrong with your log, but we may be able to figure out what is causing the slowdowns
Think back, before you experienced the slow down in the computer, what was the last software you installed
