My Computer Issue
« on: November 02, 2009, 08:38:50 PM »
Ok So my issue is, that whenever I log onto ANY account on my computer, the screen is black, leaving only a documents tab open. I can still open and run programs from the documents, such as firefox and runescape private server clients, but I can't get a background or a start bar. It is just plain black, non-interfaceable. I cannot open my cmd prompt as I don't know were it is located in the documents. I have tried booting the computer in safe mode and I have tried restarting and cutting all power. What should I do?

Removing all Malicious Items has restored my computer, however now Trend Micro Hijack window keeps popping up, I might just uninstall that program. In Order to uninstall the program I had to shut down my computer turn it back on change the start up programs restart the computer then install it. I am only downloading that if I ABSOLUTLY need it again. And when I removed the selected items wasn't 1 of them TrendMicro or something?

Sorry for the delay, can you please still do the following
Download ComboFix from one of these locations:

Link 1
Link 2
Save it ONLY to your Desktop

      --------------------------------------------------------------------
Temporarily Disable your AntiVirus/AntiSpyware applications, usually via a right click on the System Tray icon. They may otherwise interfere with this tool

 • Double click on ComboFix.exe & follow the prompts.
When finished, it shall produce a log for you. Please include the C:\ComboFix.txt in your next reply

NOTE: Do not mouseclick inside ComboFix window as it's running, it may cause it to stall
ComboFix will/may run again on startup, it will prompt that it's creating a log
This process could take up to 10 minutes, let it run uninterrupted please

With the log from ComboFix, can you also include a fresh log from Hijackthis
