Wireless Router is cracked out
« on: March 19, 2010, 04:07:00 AM »
okay. so i got a new netgear router when i bought my acer laptop.
i had the router connected to the modem that came from comcast, that was then connected to the desktop pc i have.
it worked for a while, (2 or 3 months). everything was fine.
but all of a sudden the other day, i noticed my laptop kept sayin that it was 'limited connectivity'.
i read a wholeeeee bunch of different threads and eventually got it to work okay.
but NOW
the desktop doesnt have a connection??
i didnt unplug anything or take that computer off of the settings or anything.
it jus.. dont got a connection.
the desktop is vista. and it only connects locally. which i dont understand because everything is plugged into it.
and the laptop has connection.
im realllly confused.
so....
anyone know what the hells goin on?
lol i know this kinda is hard to follow but... my mouths not all that good at words. http://images.thetechguide.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\';)\' />

Rest In Peace

Corey Ian Haim

I love you

The tears wont stop and your face is everywhere.

I cant stop thinking about you not even for a second.

I hear your voice randomly, and sometimes it feels like your right there.

You shouldnt have left so early

Its absolutely wrong, I hate the fact that you did.

Its like the world ended.

I would give anything to bring you back

Try this, first shut down all computers
Then unplug the power to both the Modem and the Router

Wait a minute, then plug ONLY the Modem power back in
Let it have complete connection, all lights lit, about a minute
Then plug in the Router. let is see connection
Start the desktop and see if you can connect
