Why install against win Me and not make a clean install on a clean partition.
And on more thing. About your problem, try making a bootable cd and modify your setup.ini so that the instalation will not ask you for a cd key. If you don't know how, i'll be more than happy to show you.
If you don't want a boot cd, copy the 2k cd on your HD and than modify the setup.ini.

change your boot sequence in BIOS so your computer will boot from the cd-rom.
if it's not, try this tutorial on http://www.tech-hints.com/2kos.html to make a bootable cd, there you ca find also an explination on how to modify the setup.ini

What? First you say you have a CD with no key, then later you say you do not have a CD? I'm lost, am I missing something?
